LTTE had given weapons training for underworld

Aug 31 (CT) The military has found out that several underworld gangs operating in the south had had weapons training from the LTTE in the Wanni, 'Lakbima' reports. There is one woman, a resident of Nittambuwa, among the gangsters who had been trained by the outfit. The exposures has come following information given by LTTE suspects under interrogation at Vavuniya Technical College. After identifying these LTTE trained gangsters, a search is underway for their arrest. more..
