The last gun fired at Kallimullivaikkal coast

The official military function of firing the last gun to mark the end of war was held in Kallimullivaikkal coast this evening. This means that the gunfire of the war has ended.

The last rounds were fired with artillery, a battle tank and a multi barrel rocket launcher aiming the sea before officials of all divisions that joined the war.

A variety of weapons captured from this area following the last battle were also displayed.
