LTTE TV staff under arrest

All staff, including directors, of the LTTE’s television, "National Television Telecast", is now under arrest, "Lakabima" reports.

In a lead news article by Gayan Kumara Weerasinghe, the newspaper says quoting a top defence official in the Wanni that the LTTE’s cultural troupe consisting of musicians and dancers have also been apprehended.

After fleeing recent fighting, all these persons had arrived along with civilians and surrendered to the military.

They are now being held at a special camp in Vavuniya for investigation, said the official.
