Black Flags in London

The Tamils once again marched the streets of London in protest to the government of Sri Lanka.

This time it was an estimated 20,000 people waving black flags.

It seems that the Tamil Diaspora wants to keep up the momentum of protest.

Protesters said that they are worried about the relatives who have gone missing as well as the plight of those in’ concentration’ camp as they described the IDP Camps.

Supporters built a mock-up concentration camp and marchers chanted: "Shame on Gordon Brown." Meanwhile the Tamil net reported that an outbreak of chickenpox and hepatitis in the IDP camps.

‘More than twelve thousand inmates are reported to have been still suffering from chickenpox. 40 to 50 fresh cases of chickenpox are reported daily.’ Said the Tamil Net.

The government has dismissed the statistics as highly exaggerated.
